Wednesday Mar 28th Information Session LULAC Membership
Hosted by: Jaime Alvarado
Wednesday, March 28, 20186:00 pm - 7:00 pm
WE ARE STARTING LULAC COUNCILS IN MILWAUKEE - INTERESTED?

LULAC is open to all. You do not need to be Latino, be a citizen, or speak Spanish. Please consider joining the largest and most active Latino organization in the U.S.

As a LULAC member, you will be part of an organization whose members are making a difference through volunteer programs addressing the needs of the Latino community.

You will also be part of a nationwide network of community activists who are protecting our civil rights in the areas of immigration, social services, education, and economic opportunity at the local, state, and national levels.

INFORMATION SESSIONS on LULAC MEMBERSHIP

We are planning an in-person meeting AND you will have an option to join by web conference (live from your computer) on what LULAC is about, how we (community) can benefit, and how to join.

WEDNESDAY, Mar 28th, 6 pm at the Tippecanoe Library 3912 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee

Why the rush? LULAC councils formed before Mar 31st will be eligible to vote at the State and National Conventions (July).

It only takes 10 minimum to form a council, and each council has autonomy on what issues to raise/work on. Each council can benefit from tremendous resources LULAC national has to offer.

We will create the meetings as Facebook events to rsvp. Please look out for them and share with anyone who may be interested.

THANKS!
