Building community one event at a time.
Latino Arts, Inc.
Latino Arts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to bringing cultural awareness, artistic educational experiences, and high-quality programming to the Greater Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin community, featuring Hispanic artists from throughout the world. Latino Arts leases its facilities from the United Community Center in the heart of Milwaukee's south side, a vibrant neighborhood that is home to many of the metropolitan area's nearly 100,000 Hispanic residents.
With roots going back more than 25 years, Latino Arts, Inc. was formally established in 1985. Since then we have brought internationally renowned professional dance troupes to Milwaukee, including DanceBrazil from Brazil, Ballet Hispanico from New York City, Tangokinesis from Argentina, Ballet Folklórico de México from Mexico City, and Perú Negro from Peru.

We've presented legendary musical artists including José Feliciano, Celia Cruz, and Tito Puente. We've also hosted arts exhibitions such as the Colorín Colorado exhibition of paintings by indigenous children from Mexico, and a number of individual artists including Alejandro Romero, Renato Esquivel, Raoul Deal, Edgar Salguero and Ernesto Gutierrez. Click here for more information about past performances and exhibitions.

Today, Latino Arts is heralded as a model for arts education and youth development in the urban community. Our community outreach and cultural arts program includes classes in string instruments, Latin American dance, theater arts, visual arts, and special arts projects (such as mural-making) to encourage the artistic development of community youth.
