Chicanismo didn’t come easy. It is political and defiant. We have fought, studied and nurtured Chicanismo.
Chicano Power is a rich and focused exhibition that pays homage to Chicanismo as a movimiento, as a fluid identity and as an culture. 27 artists have contributed 78 pieces of arte that shows us what it means to be grounded, rooted and influenced by Chicanismo.
