A Day Without Immigrants on July 1st, 2024, is a response to the unconstitutional SF 2340 Bill in Iowa. This day is a call for immigrants across the state to stand in solidarity by refraining from buying, selling, operating businesses, working, or attending school. It serves as a powerful demonstration of the essential contributions immigrants make to society and highlights the adverse effects of discriminatory legislation. By uniting in this peaceful protest, immigrants aim to raise awareness, advocate for their rights, and push for fair and just policies that uphold their dignity and respect their contributions to the community.
